چکیده

Introduction . Metastatic tumors (particularly gastric cancer) have been found to be characterized by heterogeneity between the primary tumor and metastases. This type of comes fore when treating primary-metastatic forms is an important reason for low effectiveness their treatment. In this regard, comparative analysis ABC-transporter gene expression chemosensitivity genes will allow characterize a certain extent resistance sensitivity tumor, carcinomatosis metastases therapy provide basis personalized treatment approach. Aim To evaluate in lymph node Materials methods Overall 41 patients with disseminated cancer stage IV peritoneum were included investigation. All underwent surgery according Roux palliative gastrectomy. After chemotherapy depending on indications. RNA was isolated using RNeasy Plus mini kit (Qiagen, Germany). The level ABC transporter (ABCB1, ABCC1, ABCC2, ABCC5, ABCG1, ABCG2) (BRCA1, RRM1, ERCC1, TOP1, TOP2α, TUBβ3, TYMS, GSTP1) assessed reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) Results levels under study shown vary widely. For genes, ABCG1 (3.1 ± 1.1; max 32.0), ABCG2 (7.9 2.3; 54.1), (9.6 3.8; 101.0) most expressed tissue, metastasis, respectively. Hyperexpression among at all three sites characteristic only TOP2α (17.2 6.0; max. 161.9; 10.8 4.1; 105.1; 35.3 0.8; 439.6, respectively). We that BRCA1 higher metastasis compared tissue (at p = 0.005 0.001). Whereas ABCC1 statistically significantly (p 0.03). Conclusion Thus, high observed cancer, which affects patterns various different localizations. profile can used determine approach tactics.

ABC-B transporter genes in Dirofilaria immitis

Dirofilaria immitis is a filarial nematode causing infection and heartworm disease in dogs and other canids, cats, and occasionally in humans. Prevention with macrocyclic lactones (ML) is recommended during the mosquito transmission season. Recently, ML resistance has been reported. ABC-B transporter genes are thought to be involved in the mechanism of ML resistance in other nematodes. This stu...

Curable Resection in Gastric and Lymph Node Metastases From Melanoma

We herein report a rare case of gastric and regional lymph node metastasis of cutaneous malignant melanoma that underwent curative resection. The patient, a 68-year-old man, was first diagnosed as having cutaneous malignant melanoma of the right forearm in 2005. He had extensive skin excision and axillary lymph node dissection and had undergone adjuvant chemotherapy. Six years after the primary...

Performance of methylation and expression fluctuations of sonic hedgehog genes in gastric adenocarcinoma

Gastric cancer (GC) is considered as one of the most serious cancers, and in Iran, due to environmental factors in different regions, it has a high frequency. Apart from environmental factors, genetic and epigenetic ones also play a key role in the development of carcinogenesis of GC. In this regard, the study of functioning of the molecular mechanisms involved in the carcinogenesis and also tu...
